KPBN Holds Business Gathering & Golf Tournament. The Business Gathering event not only aims to optimize the sales of PTPN products but also to enhance the understanding of customer expectations. `At this moment, let us work together to maximize the understanding of buyer expectations on PTPN products, where KPBN customers can directly convey their experiences or complaints to PTPN as the producer, and vice versa, PTPN can also share their aspirations and expectations for customers and KPBN as PTPN's marketing agent` said Edo as the President Director of PT KPBN.
The guests enthusiastically followed the business gathering program and conveyed their expectations to improve PTPN products. Those inputs will be considered by PTPN and later on, KPBN will formulate the most appropriate solution model to improve KPBN's service level through the right business process.
Furthermore, on Saturday, 28 July 2018, as the host, KPBN held a golf tournament that was participated by PTPN Group and business partners to make the gathering more enjoyable. There were several champion titles to be won, including Best Gross Overall (BGO), Best Nett Overall (BNO) I & II, Nearest to the Pin, and Longest Drive. This event was supported by Bank Mandiri, Bank OCBC NISP, Apical, Jiwasraya, Permata Hijau Group, and Jakarta Tea Buyers Association.

Tightening Silaturahmi : KPBN Holds Halalbihalal. The event was opened by the Chairman of the Organizing Committee, Hari, who said in his speech: `With this annual event, retirees, predecessors who have served at the KPBN, business partners, etc., can gather and reconnect.`

OCBC NISP disburses Rp 100 billion loan to KPBN. The signing was done by OCBC NISP Trade Finance Division Head Gianto Kusno with KPBN Commercial Director Iman Bimantara. `As a bank that has the most complete Trade Finance facilities including export, import, guarantee, and supply chain, Bank OCBC NISP proves its commitment to always providing trade solutions for customers in developing their businesses,` said OCBC NISP Bank Director Martin Widjaja in a release received by Kontan.co.id, Wednesday (6/20).
Furthermore, the company said that in encouraging the business development of KPBN, the company provides a direct loan with a buyer financing limit of IDR 100 billion. The funds will be used to help tea buyers get financing facilities with a longer period so that in the end it can increase the sales volume of tea products.
This cooperation is expected to be the initial step of the business relations between the two companies. In the future, the cooperation is hoped to be not only limited to the buyer financing scheme for tea products, but also for other export-oriented products such as Crude Palm Oil (CPO), rubber, and coffee.

"Today, the price of Malaysia CPO moved in the range of RM2,250-2,265 per ton compared to yesterday's range of RM2,238-2,276 per ton," said Arie Nurhadi, PT Monex Investindo Futures research analyst, in Jakarta, Friday (22/06/2018).Arie stated that the decline in the price of Malaysia CPO on Thursday was the fourth consecutive daily decline. Meanwhile, the price of RM2,238 per ton is the lowest price since July 2016."The decline was caused by negative sentiment that emerged along with the market's anxiety regarding the trade war between China and the United States (US). In addition, the decline in exports in June 2018 also contributed to the price decline," said Arie.Arie disclosed that the price of CPO for September 2018 delivery contracts on the Malaysia Derivatives Exchange had fallen 0.5% to RM2,251 per ton or the equivalent of US$60.79 per ton during the close of trading on Thursday.According to a release published by Societe Generale de Surveillance (SGS) and AmSpec Agri Malaysia (AmSpec) this week, exports of CPO from Malaysia during 20 days throughout June 2018 have fallen 6.37% and 10.015%, respectively, compared to the same period in May 2018."The data on the volume of CPO exports from Malaysia published by SGS and AmSpec this week have continued to impact the selling price of CPO from Malaysia in various commodity markets in the neighboring country," Arie concluded.
