Playing a Role in Forming CPO Prices Through the Commodity Exchange at the KPBN Exchange.  `Therefore, we have been holding CPO exchange for palm oil industry players in Indonesia since 1968 with the determination to bring Indonesia to color the dynamics of CPO price formation in the global market while becoming the price reference for palm oil commodity in Indonesia and the world,` said Rahmanto Amin Jatmiko, in his written statement when he attended IPOC 2022 Conference, Thursday (11/3/2022) at Bali International Convention Center, Nusa Dua, Bali.
PT Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) is a subsidiary of Perkebunan Nusantara PTPN III (Persero) holding company that focuses on CPO Trading, Storage Tank, Logistics Service, and marketing agent for commodity exchange in Indonesia.
Rahmanto admitted that the daily CPO commodity exchange in KPBN became one of the elements of CPO price formation in Indonesia.
`The next program is to make Indonesia participate in coloring the dynamics of CPO price formation in the world through the commodity exchange located in KPBN, is our determination and initiative,` he said.
Currently, his party cooperates with giant international media company, Reuters and Bloomberg, as KPBN strategic way to introduce Indonesia to the international world.
`One of the benefits of the partnership will be that the price formed from the KPBN Commodity Exchange will appear in the Bloomberg or Reuters (Refinitive) terminal system platform and side by side with information from other main exchanges in the world, allowing access by interested parties not only in Indonesia but all over the world,` he said.
He hoped that the collaboration established with these two international media could strengthen KPBN position both nationally and internationally in realizing its vision to become one of the world-class commodity exchanges.
 `In the next two years, not only PTPN, we target that private producers will also take a bigger part in the KPBN exchange ecosystem platform,` said Rahmanto.

Joining Two International Medias, the KPBN Hopes That Indonesia Will Be Able to Colorize World Palm Oil Prices. `KPBN, which has organized the CPO exchange for palm oil industrial players in Indonesia since 1968, is determined to make Indonesia contribute to the dynamics of CPO price formation in the global market and become the price reference for palm oil commodities in Indonesia and the world. The KPBN Director explained that the initial step to realize this aspiration was started by the collaboration carried out by KPBN with two giant international media companies, Reuters and Bloomberg. This collaboration is also a strategic effort by KPBN to introduce itself internationally, realizing Indonesia as a price reference for palm oil commodities.  According to him, as the largest producer of palm oil, Indonesia is still far from optimal in playing a role in this industry. Currently, global palm oil industry players still refer to the benchmark price (price reference) to the two major exchanges in the world, namely the MDEX in Malaysia and Rotterdam in the Netherlands. However, palm oil (CPO) is one of the mainstay commodities that generate foreign exchange and are important for Indonesia.  “One of the benefits of this collaboration is that the price formed from the KPBN Commodity Exchange will appear on the terminal system platform from Bloomberg or Reuters (Refinitive) and will be juxtaposed with information from other major global exchanges, so that it can be accessed by interested parties. not only in Indonesia but also worldwide,` explained Rahmanto. Holding Perkebunan Nusantara as the parent company of PT KPBN supports the initiative of the KPBN cooperation program with Reuters and Bloomberg. `As Holding Perkebunan Nusantara, we fully support KPBN's efforts as the price reference for palm oil commodities in Indonesia. Plantation Holding State-Owned Enterprise Assists Flood-Hit Schools in Jakarta. A state-owned plantation company donated school infrastructure and facilities, including temporary covers for collapsed walls, four printers, one water dispenser, `Nusakita` tea bag packages, and 50 prayer rugs.
`We from PT. KPBN Inacom are donating school supplies to MTsN 19 South Jakarta as a form of concern from company management over the recent flood disaster,` said Rahmanto, Director of KPBN at a separate location.
Wanta, Head of Administration at MTsN 19 Jakarta, stated that the flood occurred on Thursday (October 6) at around 2:30 p.m. Within 20 minutes, water had entered the schoolyard and collapsed the boundary wall of MTsN 19 South Jakarta. The disaster killed three students and injured three others who were active around the school area.
`We, the extended family of KPBN Inacom, express our deepest condolences for the flood incident that collapsed the school wall and killed three students at MTsN 19 South Jakarta. May the families of the victims be given strength and patience, and may the three students who are being treated recover quickly and return to their activities. We hope that this assistance can be beneficial for the operational support activities of the school,` said Erwin as Head of the Corporate Secretary and Public Relations of KPBN Inacom when handing over the donation from PT KPBN Inacom.
`Hopefully, the assistance we have provided can ease the burden and be used for the best. Furthermore, with this assistance, we hope that the learning process at MTsN 19 Jakarta can quickly return to normal,` added Erwin.
`We, representing MTsN 19 Jakarta School, would like to thank the extended family of KPBN Inacom for providing assistance in the form of infrastructure for the school's operational activities,` said Wanta, Head of Administration at MTsN 19 Jakarta.
